What Herzliya is actually like socially
Herzliya Pituach is offices and the sea, and the two barely touch. Tech workers, founders and freelancers pass each other daily in the same three cafés without a single structure that introduces them - the company happy hour is not it, because everyone there already knows each other. The residential side of the city, closer to the old centre and the marina, runs on families and school runs, which is a different world again and just as hard to enter mid-life.
The thing most people get wrong
That professional events will do it. They produce contacts. They very rarely produce someone you would call on a Saturday.
Where Bamboo fits
